Terms of Service
Last updated: October 20, 2026
These terms govern your use of Echo, the AI software-building platform at echoagent.space. By creating an account or using Echo you agree to them.
They also incorporate our Privacy Policy, Refund & Cancellation Policy and Cookie Policy.
1. Acceptance of these terms
These terms form a binding agreement between you and Echo between you and the operator of Echo (“Echo”, “we”, “us”). If you do not agree with these terms, do not create an account or use Echo. If you are accepting on behalf of a company, you confirm you are authorised to bind that company, and “you” includes that company.
These terms describe how Echo actually works as of the date shown. They have not been through an external legal certification process; if a specific commitment matters to you, ask us and we will confirm it in writing.
2. The Echo service
Echo is an AI software-building platform. You describe a product idea in natural language and Echo plans the work, generates the source code, runs the build in an isolated sandbox, verifies the result in a browser runtime, and gives you a preview URL plus the full source code.
Echo also provides workspaces, collaboration, credentials management, credit accounting, publishing and deployment hand-off to hosting providers you connect. Echo is a developer tool: the products it generates are yours to review, test, host and sell.
3. Account registration and responsibilities
- Eligibility — you must be legally able to enter into a binding contract, and you must not use Echo in breach of any applicable law.
- Accuracy — provide accurate registration details and keep them current so we can reach you about your account.
- One account — one Echo account per person, unless you have an Enterprise agreement that says otherwise. You may not share, resell or lend account access.
- Security — you are responsible for the confidentiality of your credentials and for activity performed through your account. Tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorised access.
- Workspace behaviour — workspace owners control membership, roles, credit limits and connected services for their workspace; members are responsible for activity inside the workspaces they join.
4. Permitted and prohibited usage
You may use Echo to build lawful software for lawful purposes. You may not:
- use Echo to break the law, or to build or operate anything unlawful;
- infringe another person’s intellectual property, privacy or confidential information, or publish material you have no right to use;
- generate or distribute malware, or use Echo to attack, probe or compromise any system you are not authorised to test;
- upload content that is illegal, that you do not have the right to share, or that you know or should know infringes someone else’s rights;
- attempt to gain unauthorised access to Echo or to the accounts, workspaces or data of other people;
- circumvent plan limits, credit accounting, rate limits or usage limits, or resell, sublicense or provide access to Echo to third parties;
- interfere with the service, overload it, probe it with automated requests that degrade it for others, or scrape it;
- send unsolicited bulk messages, or use Echo for spam, phishing or harassment;
- publish or deploy a generated application without reviewing it, in particular when it handles money, personal data or health information.
5. AI-generated content and its limitations
Echo generates code and other content with third-party AI models. That content is probabilistic: it can be wrong, incomplete, outdated, unsafe, or unexpectedly similar to output produced for someone else. Echo does not warrant that generated output is correct, free of errors, free of vulnerabilities, fit for a particular purpose, or non-infringing.
- You must review it — read, test and secure the code Echo generates before you rely on it or put it in front of users.
- Provider terms apply — your use of a model provider is governed by that provider’s terms, including its usage policies and limits.
- No guarantee of uniqueness — you should assume that output may not be unique to you and should not rely on it as a trade secret or as a unique creative work.
- Human judgement is required — Echo’s automated browser verification checks that a build runs. It does not certify that the result is correct, secure or lawful.
6. Your projects and source code
You own your prompts, your uploaded materials and the source code Echo generates for your projects. Echo claims no ownership of your projects, your prompts or the code generated from them, and Echo does not sell them. You can export the full source code of any project as a ZIP archive at any time.
Echo retains all rights in Echo itself: the platform, agent system, orchestration logic, templates, internal tooling, documentation and branding. Generated projects may include components that Echo supplies or that come from third-party open-source packages; those components remain subject to their own licences and terms, which you are responsible for complying with before you publish.
Echo processes de-identified, privacy-safe operational telemetry (for example, agent profile and model routing choices and whether a run succeeded) to operate, debug and improve the service. Prompts, source files, environment values and provider credentials are deliberately excluded from that telemetry.
7. Free and paid plans
Echo offers the following plans. Prices are quoted in US dollars and may be billed monthly or annually.
- Free — workspace access with your own AI provider keys, your own database and services, source-code export and repository sync, and standard execution speed.
- Echo Infra — bring your own AI keys while Echo manages the build infrastructure. Runs on this plan consume no managed Echo credits.
- Standard — managed AI compute with 100 managed credits included per month, email support, on-demand credit top-ups, and workspace collaboration with per-member credit limits.
- Premium — larger credit allowances (550 credits per month at the entry tier, up to 75,000), higher concurrency, deeper planning passes, expanded context, volume credit pricing down to $0.10 per credit and priority support.
- Enterprise — a tailored agreement with custom seat limits, single-tenant environments, SSO/SAML, SCIM directory sync, audit logs, advanced privacy controls, dedicated onboarding and a custom service level agreement.
Plan features, limits and credit allowances are shown on the pricing page and in Settings → Billing, and Echo may change them as the product evolves. You can change your plan at any time from Settings → Billing.
8. Credits and usage-based billing
On paid plans Echo meters work in credits. Credits are an internal unit of account, not money: they have no cash value, cannot be sold, transferred or redeemed, and are not a store of value.
- Grants — subscription credits are added at the start of each billing period, and additional credits can be purchased as one-off top-up packs. Credit value follows the price of what you buy; volume pricing reaches $0.10 per credit on the largest Premium tier.
- Spending — credits are reserved when a run starts and charged against what the run actually used. Every reservation, charge and reversal is recorded in your workspace credit ledger, and your balance is shown in Settings → Billing.
- Scope — a plan and its credits belong to a single workspace. Paying for one workspace never funds another, and workspace owners can cap what each member may spend.
- BYOK runs — runs that use your own provider keys do not consume managed Echo credits, although you are billed by that provider directly.
- Expiry — purchased top-up credits do not expire. Credits granted by a subscription stay in the workspace balance until they are used, unless a payment covering them is refunded.
- Refunds and reversals — when a payment is refunded by our payment processor, Echo reverses the credits that payment granted, proportionally to the amount refunded. If those credits have already been spent, the workspace balance is reduced accordingly and can go negative; new billable work is blocked until the balance covers the cost again.
Billing, cancellations and refunds are described in the Refund & Cancellation Policy.
9. Third-party integrations and API keys
Echo can connect to services you authorise, including AI model providers, hosting and deployment platforms, source-control providers, databases and object storage.
- You control the connection — you choose what to connect, what scope to grant and when to revoke it. Echo stores connected credentials encrypted and uses them only for the action you requested.
- You are responsible for the provider — a connected provider is an independent service with its own terms, availability, pricing and acceptable-use rules. Charges, limits, build failures and outages on that provider are yours to manage.
- Provider keys — if you connect your own model provider key, you are responsible for its usage and cost, and for keeping it confidential.
- Deployment hand-off — Echo can prepare a build and ask a hosting provider to deploy it. The provider decides whether to accept, build and keep the deployment available; Echo does not guarantee a provider will accept a request.
10. Suspension, cancellation and termination
Cancelling a subscription
You can cancel a paid subscription from Settings → Billing, using the “Manage subscription” button, which opens your billing portal. The portal lets you cancel future renewals and update your payment method. Echo records the resulting subscription status from signed events sent by the payment processor, and the next renewal date is shown in Settings → Billing. See the Refund & Cancellation Policy for how cancellations, renewals and refunds are handled.
Deleting your account
You can delete your Echo account at any time from your account settings. Deletion permanently removes your account and the records tied to it, including projects, workspaces, folders, runs, connected credentials, credit records and billing records held by Echo, together with the sign-in identity attached to it.
Suspension and termination by Echo
We may suspend or terminate an account or a workspace if you materially breach these terms, if required by law, or if we detect fraud, abuse, credential compromise or a serious risk to the security of the service or of other users. Where a paid subscription is terminated by Echo for a reason other than your breach, we will tell you and apply the refund policy.
11. Service availability and liability
Availability
Echo is provided on an “as available” basis. Execution speed depends on plan, on the availability of the model providers and hosting providers involved, and on network conditions. Parts of the service are supplied by third parties whose own outages, quotas and limits can affect your work. Enterprise agreements may include a service level agreement; no such commitment is offered on other plans unless stated in writing.
Disclaimers
Except as expressly stated in these terms, Echo and its licensors provide the service “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement and uninterrupted operation.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Echo is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data or loss of goodwill, arising out of or relating to the service or these terms. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Echo’s total liability arising out of or relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid Echo for the service in the twelve months before the first event giving rise to the claim.
Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for any other liability that applicable law does not permit the parties to exclude.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as Echo changes. We will revise the date at the top of the page and, where a change is material, notify you in the product or by email before it takes effect. If you do not accept the updated terms, you can delete your account, and your use of Echo after the change takes effect means you accept the revised terms.
